DuPont Lycra, nylon and polyester are the most commonly used materials for swimwear. Any special materials such as hollows and jacquards cannot be separated from the above three types of elastic materials. Many new swimwear will be treated with special treatments such as UV resistance, chlorine resistance or water treatment.

Swimwear fabric features

1. DuPont Leica:

It is a kind of artificial elastic fiber, the best elastic fabric, can extend to 4~6 times of the original length, and has excellent extension. It is suitable for blending with various fibers, and can strengthen the texture drape and wrinkle resistance. DuPont Lycra with anti-chlorine ingredients will give swimwear a longer life than regular swimwear.

2, nylon fabric:

Although the texture is not as solid as Lycra, the softness of softness is comparable to that of Lycra. Currently the most commonly used fabric for swimwear, suitable for mid-priced products.

3, polyester fabric:

It is an elastic fabric that stretches in one direction and two sides. Due to limited elastic, most of them are used in swimming trunks or female swimming splits. They are not suitable for the one-piece model. Fabrics that can be partially spliced or used in low unit price strategies.

Swimwear classification

1, female swimwear:

It can be divided into five categories: one-piece triangle, two-piece split, split three-piece, and one-piece skirt. It also adds four-piece style or special design changes according to the trend.

2, men's swimming trunks

Generally can be divided into "flat pants", "flat pants", "four-corners", "five pants", "cycling pants", "beach pants" and other six models. "Footsuits" and "diving suits" are occasionally used in the design.

3, girls swimwear:

It is roughly the same as a female swimsuit. It can be divided into five categories: “connected money”, “link pants”, “separate two-piece”, “separate three-piece” and “connected skirt”.

4, boys swimming trunks:

It is roughly the same as the male swimming trunks. Can be divided into "flat pants", "flat pants", "four-corners", "five pants", "cycling pants", "link pants" and other six categories.

Swimwear washing and maintenance

1. Swimwear washing knowledge:

Cleaning of most swimwear: Wash with cold water (no more than 30 degrees warm water). Never use detergents such as soap and washing powder. Because most detergents contain bleaching and fluorescent agents, if they are used, they will damage the color of the swimsuit and damage the elasticity of the swimsuit.

2, swimwear maintenance:

Swimwear, like fashion, requires careful maintenance to extend its wearing life. The first thing that is indispensable is the correct maintenance knowledge:

A. Salt in seawater, chlorine in swimming pools, chemicals and oils can damage the elasticity of swimwear. When using sunscreen, you should wear a swimsuit and apply sunscreen. Before launching, you should first wet the swimsuit with water to reduce the degree of damage. After swimming, you should rinse your body and take off your swimsuit.

B. Wet swimsuits should not be put in the bag for a long time, so as to avoid fading or odor. It should be quickly washed with water and then smothered with water and then air-dried in a shade that is not directly exposed to light.

C, can not be washed, dehydrated or sun-dried in the washing machine, not to use the dryer, so as not to damage the material to cause deformation.

D, washing powder, bleach will break the elasticity, should be avoided.

E. Avoid rubbing the swimsuit on rough rocks, which will damage the life of the swimsuit.

F. Note: Wearing a swimsuit to soak in a hot spring or a sauna, the sulfur component and high temperature in the hot spring can easily damage the elastic tissue of the swimsuit, so that the life of the swimsuit is shortened.
