Abstract: Fancy lines change the structure of the yarn, forming a unique product style, increasing the texture of the fabric, with a distinct appearance effect and rich colors. Fancy yarns are widely used in clothing, accessories and industrial products, and therefore have important market and practical significance for the development of fancy yarns and their products. Through the trial weaving of the sample, the source of inspiration, the process parameters and the problems that should be paid attention to when developing the product are explained.

In recent years, at the international yarn and fabric exhibition, fancy yarns and their fabrics are dazzling. The fancy yarn has a special structure and can be used with almost all natural and chemical fibers. The rapid development of fancy yarns has changed the variety of yarns in the overall yarn, resulting in fancy yarns forming a unique yarn branch. Since the 1970s, fancy yarns have become a major variety in the international textile market and are used in almost all textile industries. According to the data, in the French woolen women's clothing in the 1980s, fancy yarn fabrics accounted for 44%, Italian fancy yarn fabrics accounted for more than 19.3%; 95% of the US imported garments were fancy yarn fabrics. According to the introduction of the 48th International Fashion Exhibition, coarse detail yarns, knot yarns, slub yarns, colored yarns, knot yarns, loop yarns, beads yarns, scorpion yarns and various composite fancy yarns are widely used. Fashion fabrics, woven products can be used as fabrics for coats, suits, outerwear, shirts and skirts. Fancy yarns and their fabrics have not only become a newcomer in the international and domestic textile market, but also loved by consumers, and it is a fashion trend in the new century.

There are two ways to use fancy yarns in woven fabric weaving processes. The first type is the fancy yarn of the warp and weft yarns, or the fancy yarn of the whole warp or full weft, which is applied more in the thicker, stiffer and thicker fabrics. Fancy lines have made great progress in the development and application of woven fabric products. The use of fancy yarns in worsted fabrics not only maintains the high-grade feel of the finished fabric, but also makes the fabric surface slightly fancy in the quiet, and the same can be used in the coarse textile to produce a very popular woolen product. In the yarn-dyed products, the fancy line is the most widely used, and the thick, medium and thin fabrics have the application of fancy lines.
