Flax: It is an annual herb that can be divided into three types: fiber flax, oil flax and oil fiber and flax. Oil-type linen is also called flax. Flax has a history of cultivation in China for at least 1,000 years. Fibrous linen was introduced from Japan in 1907. The flax is native to the Mediterranean region, and the European and Asian temperate zones are cultivated.
