Suede is a general term for leather that is ground to a fine velvet shape. It includes a front-fleece leather and a flannel-finished suede (Swee leather) that has been partially or completely grained. Multi-purpose pigskin, cowhide and sheepskin are made by chrome tanning. Suede leather is only fluffed and dyed, without finishing, good hygienic performance and poor maintainability. The common quality requirement is that the fluff is fine and uniform, does not fade, has good water resistance, and has no greasy feeling. Used in making uppers, garments and gloves.
Suede refers to a leather that has a velvety surface and is made of leather on the front side of the leather (the side that grows hair or scales). It is called n- velvet; it is made of leather on the reverse side (meat side). . Made of two layers of leather, called a two-layer suede. Since the suede has no finishing layer, its air permeability is better, the softness is improved, but its water repellency, dustproofness and maintainability are deteriorated, and the fastness of the nubuck leather without the grain surface becomes low. The suede products are comfortable to wear and have good hygienic properties. However, in addition to the suede made of oily suede, the suede is easy to be dirty and not easy to clean and maintain. Mainly used for: leather shoes, leather clothing, leather bags, gloves.
