The standard uses a combination of combustion, microscopic observation, chemical dissolution, coloring test, melting point measurement method, infrared absorption spectrum and other test methods, and introduces the latest detection means such as special element color reaction, and establishes a set of operating procedures for experimental instruments and reagents. Scientific and effective properties of seven new fibers, such as lyocell fiber, bamboo pulp fiber, chitin fiber, soybean protein composite fiber, milk protein composite fiber, polylactic acid fiber and polytrimethylene terephthalate fiber.
