Classification principle fabric name
Woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, non-woven fabrics according to fabric weaving methods
According to the composition of the fabric, cotton fabric, purified fiber fabric, silk fabric, full wool fabric, general hemp fabric, blended fabric, etc.
According to the fabric structure, plain fabric, twill fabric, satin fabric, jacquard fabric, etc.
According to the degree of finishing, the original color fabric (male cloth), dyed fabric, yarn-dyed fabric, printed fabric, coated fabric, etc.
According to the thickness of the fabric, thick fabric, thin fabric
Woven Fabric
Also known as woven fabric, it is a fabric formed by interlacing warp and weft yarns perpendicularly to each other. Its basic organization is plain, twill, satin. Different woven fabrics are also composed of these three basic tissues and their varied tissues. There are mainly Chiffon, Oxford, Denim, Drill, Flannel, Damask and so on.
Woven is woven from two yarns of warp and weft.
plain weave
It refers to a fabric woven with warp and weft yarns every other yarn (that is, the yarn is 1 upper and lower). The characteristics of this fabric are many interwoven points, firm texture, smooth surface, soft, thin and thin. High-grade embroidery fabrics are generally plain fabrics.
Twill
It refers to a fabric woven by at least two yarns of warp and weft yarns (ie, 2 upper 1 or 3 upper 1). Weaving such fabrics generally uses the addition of warp and weft interlacing points to change the texture of the fabric, and is therefore also collectively referred to as twill fabric. This kind of fabric is thicker and has a stronger three-dimensional structure. Mostly used in bed supplies. The number of branches usually varies from 30, 40, and 60.
Satin
The satin weave refers to the warp (or weft). The float is longer and the interlacing points are less. Although they form a diagonal line, they are not continuous, and the distance between them is regular and uniform. The fabric structure is called satin weave.
Knitted Fabric
The yarn or the filament is formed into a coil by a knitting needle, and the coils are sleeved with each other. Since the stitch structure of the knitted fabric has a large amount of yarn stored per unit length, most of them have good elasticity. Knitted fabrics are available in single and double sides. There are mainly jerseys (single Jersey), velvet, mesh cloth and so on. Knitted fabrics can be divided into two categories: weft knitted fabrics and warp knitted fabrics. Such as: cultural shirts, T-shirts, sweaters, thermal underwear, shorts and so on. Easy to stretch, loose and easy to bend.
Knitting is woven from a single yarn.
1 Weft-knitted fabric is a fabric in which the yarn is fed from the weft direction, and the same yarn is sequentially bent into a loop and nested together. The most common sweater is the weft knitted fabric.
2 The warp knitting fabric coils are oriented in the same direction as the weft knitting. They are one or several sets of yarns arranged in parallel, which are fed in the warp direction, bent into loops and sleeved together.
Non-Woven Fabric
It is made by bonding, fusion or other mechanical and chemical methods of textile fibers. There are mainly non-woven fabrics, adhesive cloths and the like.
Oriented or randomly arranged fibers are machined, that is, the fibers are bonded directly by physical means.
Short process, high production speed, high output, low cost, wide application and many raw materials.
Such as: surgical gowns, protective clothing, masks, sheets, bedspreads, linings, diapers, tea bags, etc.
Coated fabric
A fabric that is coated or bonded to a surface of a fabric to give it a unique look or function. Such as waterproof, windproof, breathable and other functions.
Representative fabrics of coated fabrics include anti-feather coating fabrics, waterproof and moisture-permeable coated fabrics (such as PVC or PU), flame-retardant coated fabrics, conductive and imitation leather.
Printed fabric
It is prepared by dyeing into a color paste directly on a white or light-colored fabric to form a pattern, which is simple in process, low in cost and most used. Common printing methods include flat screen printing, rotary screen printing, transfer printing, and the like.
(6) Yarn-dyed fabric
It refers to the process of dyeing yarns or filaments first, and then weaving them with colored yarns. This kind of fabric is called “dyed fabric, and the factory producing yarn-dyed fabric is generally called dyeing factory, such as denim and large. Some of the shirt fabrics are yarn-dyed fabrics.
Denim, also known as denim, is a thicker dyed warp-knitted twill. The warp yarns are dark in color, generally indigo, and the weft yarns are light in color, usually light gray or scoured. Also known as indigo labor cloth.
