Bamboo fiber fabric dyeing and finishing process

Bamboo fiber is an environmentally friendly natural fiber with excellent performance and is a new type of fiber. Bamboo fibrils use physical methods to separate lignin, protein, fat, pectin from bamboo, and then extract bamboo fibers from them.

Bamboo fiber can retain the characteristics of bamboo by itself. It is a kind of green plant fiber. It is easy to wash, dry, moisture, cool, dimensionally stable, smooth and comfortable. It is comfortable, breathable, antibacterial and UV resistant. Today, with the focus on environmental protection and energy conservation, the emergence of this new type of fiber can alleviate the gap caused by the increasing demand for cotton and other natural fibers in China.

Bamboo fiber properties

1) The length of bamboo fibrils is good. The length can be made into the length required for the cotton type, medium length type and hair type according to the requirements of the user;

2) Bamboo fibrils have better thermal properties. Bamboo fibrils begin to decompose from about 260 ° C, and decompose and terminate at around 540 ° C. The thermal stability is comparable to that of ramie, which is better than cotton fiber, flax fiber and bamboo pulp viscose fiber;

3) The initial modulus of bamboo fibrils is lower than that of ramie fibers and higher than that of cotton fibers. It belongs to high-strength and low-stretch fibers and has high rigidity.

4) Bamboo fiber has a low moisture regain rate, low water retention rate and good moisture permeability, so wearing a garment made of bamboo fiber has a dry and comfortable feeling;

5) Bamboo fibrils have good antibacterial and antibacterial effects, higher than bamboo pulp fibers. In addition, since the bamboo fibrils contain chlorophyll copper sodium, there is also a good anti-ultraviolet effect;

6) The chemical properties of bamboo fibrils are similar to those of other cellulose fibers. They are resistant to alkali and acid, and are soluble in strong inorganic acids, but they are relatively stable to common solvents. There are hydrophilic genes on the macromolecules of bamboo fibrils, especially the morphological structure of cracks in the cavity of bamboo fibrils, and the dyeing performance is good.

Bamboo fiber production process

Pretreatment process

1) Process: blank inspection → tumbling → singeing → flat back boiling → pickling → bleaching → mercerizing → drying.

2) Process prescriptions and conditions:

Singeing two positive and two reverse, the speed of 90~100m/min, to ensure that the singeing finish of the machine is 3~4.

Re-cooking Bamboo fiber has more hairiness and heavier sizing. Add certain scouring agents when re-cooking, and strengthen the flat wash.

Pickling Because bamboo fiber is processed by physical methods, some bamboo skin remains on the fiber, which affects the appearance quality of the cloth. A dilute acid treatment process can be added.

Bleaching H2O2 is 4~5g/L, pH is about 10, and time is 40min.

The mercerized NaOH was 160 g/L and the vehicle speed was 40 m/min so that the fibers were fully expanded.

Drying is a process to ensure the consistency of the dryness of the dyed semi-finished products. If the physical quality of the mercerized lower machine is good, this process can be omitted.

2. Dyeing process:

Process: Take reactive dye dyeing as an example. Dip reactive dye dyeing solution→Infrared pre-baking→drying→dip-dyeing solution fixing liquid→steaming→water washing→soaping→drying.

3. Finishing process:

1) Process flow: soft → tenter → (pre-shrink) → check code into package

2) Process prescriptions and conditions:

Softener 30g/L;

Pre-shrinking After the general mercerizing, the shrinkage rate of the finished product can meet the requirements. If the customer requires a higher shrinkage rate, it must be pre-shrinked;

Pre-shrinking process and conditions Steam pressure 2.5kg/cm2, speed 30m/min.

Bamboo fiber is a natural fiber with good performance and can be dyed by natural fiber. The pickling and mercerizing process should be well controlled. If the concentration is too high, the fiber strength will decrease, and the width of the door will shrink too much, which is unfavorable for subsequent processing. Bamboo fibrils are rigid, and the processing should be carried out in a flat format. Both long-distance and dyeing can be done. Avoid string processing, otherwise it will cause dyeing defects (such as color strips, chicken paw prints, etc.). Practice has proved that the steam solidification method with reactive dyes is better than the baking method. If special finishing, such as enzyme washing and anti-wrinkle treatment, is to be controlled, the dosage and time should be controlled. Different varieties of crafts are different, but the process is generally the same
